In our most beautiful spring day yet, Bryn and Luke changed out of the t-shirts they had been wearing to put on their "sun" shirts from Nana -- shirts that change color in the sunlight. They pretended they were at "gardening school," and I was the teacher. They sprinkled the newly visible daffodils with plant food and snail repellant, and each armed with pruners, they clipped away all of the dried hydrangea stalks! How long do you think the gardening will be novel and therefore fun to them?
