Nama and Gran'pop gave Bryn a pink-and-purple Barbie bike (with training wheels) for her birthday, and Bryn couldn't be more excited! She's happy to wear the matching helmet and pads, too, and in her first day of riding, she advanced to riding without anyone holding on to her or to the bike for stability.
First Solo Ride

Riding her bike is all Bryn wants to do. Before heading out this morning with Nama and Gran'pop, she asked if she could ride her bike. In the afternoon, we were out on two separate occasions, mittens and all. She still needs to learn how to brake -- her current practice is running into the curb! She fell twice, but wasn't at all phased by the spells. Ken had a great idea -- to take Bryn to the nearby train station where the parking lot is empty on the weekends. A first bike -- how exciting!
