We've been getting winter precipitation every week for the entire month of January. Sometimes it's in the form of snow, and sometimes it's in the form of ice, which creates dangerous conditions but is beautiful on the trees.
Last week we got 9 inches, so we finally made it over to Haverford College to go sledding. Both kids are now going by themselves, or with each other, but Bryn's first run of the season was with Ken, and Luke's was with me.
Someone, or more likely a team of people, had built a ramp at the top of the hill, and Bryn in particular has taken to using this launch pad to go faster and farther down the long hill.
In tonight's forecast: an inch of snow, followed by freezing rain and sleet in the morning. How much longer until spring?
