With the pending move to California, we listed our house in March with the assistance of our neighbor and good friend, Daniel Marein-Efron. We have loved 428 Owen Road, and we are going to miss it and the wonderful neighborhood in which it is situated. We can walk, via sidewalks, to multiple shopping centers, including an outdoor mall with a farmer's market and Trader Joe's. We paid over asking price for the house at the peak of the market in 2005, and we poured $200,000 into renovations. Sadly, we are losing money on the property, but we loved our time there, and we were under contract in just six days.
