With Mrs. Mignogna, Bryn's bubbly first grade teacher.
Bryn had a banner first-grade year. She was admitted to the gifted program -- one of five first-grade students of 120+ to participate. At an all-school assembly she was awarded the C.A.R.E.S. award for being considerate and responsible and an all-around nice kid. And she was one of a handful of students who volunteered for a speaking part in the year-end first-grade musical, Too Bee or Not to Bee.
In her last report card, her teacher indicated that Bryn improved from exhibiting self-confidence "most of the time" to doing so "consistently." Once Bryn started participating in the Challenge program with Mr. Mudd, we noticed an uptick in her self-esteem, which has been a growth area for her. We are thrilled that Bryn is taking to her new school newly found self-confidence. She is a great kid who is smart, respected and well-liked; there's no reason she shouldn't exude confidence!
