Be sure to click on the youtube link below (difficult to see -- gray font) to watch a video of Luke acting out the role of Mouse in a short play that he performed with his reading group at school. In case you can't make out everything that is said, here's the synopsis: Cast includes four forest friends -- Mouse, played by Luke; Deer, played by (tall) Hanna; Crow, played by (little) Blake; and Turtle, played by Kate (in tie-dyed shirt) -- and a hunter, played by Charlie (initially offstage). First the hunter traps Deer, then he sets his eyes on Turtle, but the animals work together to free whoever is endangered and chase the hunter away.
