School Play

This week marked the performance of Aladdin, a musical performed by third-, fourth-, and fifth-graders at Bryn's school.  The production was incredibly polished.  The sets and costumes were all over-the-top, and it's no surprise that more than 250 students sign up to participate in the annual event, which is a community event as well.  All third graders are relegated to the chorus, but even they had three costume changes!  Here Bryn is before the show, with playdate friends (dressed as waitresses), from left to right: Devin Hunsinger, Norah Wolk and Sydney Moseley.  The last picture shows the girls as they were dressed for their second appearance on stage; Bryn is in the middle row, next to the elephant, in a magenta gypsy outfit with veil.  It wasn't possible to take photographs during the show, but we will order a DVD and hopefully the grandparents will be able to enjoy the spectacular that was Aladdin.
