This weekend marked the end of softball season. The Hurricanes had a playoff game Friday evening, and it was an incredibly exciting match up that was tied at 5 all after 5 innings. Drew Stimson, holding Bryn here, had the game of her life, and was responsible for the majority of the team's outs with her pitching. We were forced to an extra inning, and Drew struck out all 3 batters. When it was the Hurricanes' turn at bat, Bryn scored the winning run and is exalted here in Drew's arms. Way to go, Hurricanes!
The team played again Saturday afternoon but lost to the second best team in the league. The team held their own, however, and in that game, Bryn made an unbelievable out as catcher, catching a pop-up. Props go out to Coach Ken who put in countless hours into the girls' season.
