This weekend is the Marin All-Star Softball Tournament. The girls played Friday night and won. Today they lost badly, 20-2, in their first game but won their second game 14-10. In the second game, Bryn stole home for a run. The rules state that if a player steals home, she has to slide. Bryn has never slid into a base before, but she did so today and was safe by a mile. Go Bryn!
Tomorrow Bryn's team, which is seeded second despite their lopsided loss, plays at 1:00. If they lose, their time in the tournament is over. If they win, they play two more games, so it could be a long afternoon of softball. But we, of course, are rooting for Tiburon to place in the tournament.
