Ice Cream Social
Last Sunday the YMCA held an ice cream social that was kicked off by a magician, John Cassidy, who as it turns out, is somewhat of a big deal. He holds the world record for creating the most balloon sculptures in an hour, and from his website, we learned that he's had several TV appearances. His sense of humor was a bit edgy -- "When I was young, they didn't have 'A.D.D.' ... You were just B-A-D," but he made Ken and I laugh a lot. One of his coolest tricks was drawing a picture of a face, and then the eyes and mouth of the drawing moved.
