Finished Basement

After 3 months without it, our basement has finally been restored. The rubber flooring was installed on Monday, and the final step, the carpeting, was installed on Tuesday. The whole room looks great. The blue walls match the rubber flooring perfectly, and the tan walls blend in nicely with the tan carpeting. There are essentially three sections -- a blue area with a chalkboard wall;

a smaller area with tan walls and carpeting;
and a third area that has tan walls and rubber flooring -- this last area is where the exercise bike is.
The timing of the room's completion couldn't be better as Bryn has been sick this week -- her fever reached as high as 103.5 today. We've been spending a lot of time in the basement, sometimes just coloring. The room looks so nice Ken and I want to keep it that way as best as we can, so I'm in the market for an attractive storage unit for the smaller toys, and Ken mentioned the
possibility of buying a new television for the space. Can't wait for you to see our much-improved space!
