Per my friend Julie Shaffer's recommendation, we held Bryn's birthday party at the Build-a-Bear Workshop in the King of Prussia
Mall. Each guest picked a stuffed animal to stuff -- rabbit, dog, bear, or turkey, and the large group was very, very patient, waiting her/his turn at the stuffing machine.
Our designated store helper was young and very enthusiastic,and she did a great job of holding the kids' interest by playing a game like hot potato in order to determine who would go next. Everyone picked an outfit, too, and the sweater dress that Bryn chose ended up being the most popular outfit. (Luke, acting a bit grumpy, opted for underwear and nothing more for his dog.)
Once the animals were complete, we had pizza and cupcakes in the food court. We've been to so many parties at Little Gym this year; I think several of Bryn's friends enjoyed having a party somewhere else, so all in all, Bryn's birthday party was a successful event.
