a candle in it.
with 3 related gifts inside -- a new doll, a jogging stroller, and fleece pj's for the new baby.
But I suspect the most memorable aspect of her birthday was the special treatment she enjoyed while traveling: a check-out person at
Au Bon Pain gave her a bag of cookies; the flight attendants gave the birthday girl a bag filled with extra snacks from the flight; and the car rental agency gave her a bag of Cracker Jacks.
While in Florida Bryn had a great time playing with cousin Sam and his dog Rio. I can't wait to see pictures of Bryn in the fancy dress that she wore to the wedding; Ken said people stopped in their tracks and commented on Bryn's unique dress.
It was so strange being at home without Bryn for three days. Without someone to quibble with, Luke was on his best behavior, and the house was

so Bryn's fifth birthday celebration will continue, and this time I'll be a full participant and witness to all of the festivities. :)
