Blizzard!

We got our second big snowstorm of the winter overnight. At 10 a.m. we had 17 inches, but by the time the snow had stopped falling, Philadelphia Airport was reporting 26 inches -- the second-largest snowstorm in Philadelphia's history. Washington, DC, was even harder hit, and my Mom lost her power around 10 p.m. Friday evening, and by Saturday evening it hadn't been restored, so she's spending the night at a nearby hotel with some neighbors. She has lost her land line, too.
We didn't make it to Haverford College to go sledding today, but we're hoping to go tomorrow. This morning it was all hands on deck when it came time to clear the driveway.

We had a really good day despite being snowed in. Bryn and Luke enjoyed "pajama day" since we weren't going anywhere. Our next-door neighbor, Emily, came over and played with Bryn for two hours. She changed into her pajamas, too! Luke, meanwhile, decorated Valentine's Day sugar cookies, and he even did a terrific job rolling out the dough.

Glad to hear you are okay. We've got about 20 to 24 inches. It's incredible. Took Leroy for a walk and in some places, it was up to my waist.
Hope your mom is okay.
