I went to Genuardis and couldn't believe how bare the shelves were! No eggs.
Hardly any orange juice.
No onions, and hardly any other vegetables.
And we live in an area where we have a choice of two other large grocery stores, in addition to Genuardis, not to mention two specialty stores (Trader Joe's and Whole Foods) all within a half mile. I couldn't help but to wonder what it must have been like in New Orleans after Katrina hit. Or in Haiti now.
