Water Fight!

We don't normally bathe Bryn and Luke at the same time, but they were excited to do so "since Daddy's away." I lost all authority from the minute they entered the tub together.
Ken gets back in just a couple of days. He's in Hong Kong now -- and has been away for 8 nights. Nicole Lima, our very favorite babysitter, came to swim class with us Saturday morning to provide an extra set of hands. While he waited for his swim lesson, Luke was a kissing bandit -- first Nicole, then me. Then Nicole, then me. Luke is just crazy for Nicole -- as am I!
Nicole left around lunchtime but then came back at 7 pm so I could have dinner out with three girlfriends. Only then did I discover that a small interior light in the back of the car had been left on, and my battery had died! Ugh. Today I called AAA, and they were at our house within 15 minutes, and jump starting the battery took just a couple of minutes with a battery pack that the driver had. I then loaded Bryn and Luke into the car, and we drove around for 20 minutes -- to their school and back -- so the battery could further charge as I braked. We left the car alone for a few hours, and I'm pleased to report that it started right up when we were leaving to go out to dinner. Phew.
At Chipotle, begging "please" for ice cream sounds a lot like "cheese," and made for very cooperative picture taking!
