International Children's Festival at Annenberg

After a rainy week we had a beautiful spring day to enjoy the International Children's Festival held at Annenberg on Penn's campus. This event has been going on for YEARS -- I remember children invading the campus when I was in college, yet I had never been before. As it turns out, it was a great event with lots of free arts and crafts, face painting, bands, a visit by the Philly Fanatic, and a performance by one of our favorite groups, the Give and Take Jugglers. We attended the event with Bryn's best friend Ava and her Mom (Mara) (and au pair and twin siblings) and after a couple of hours we walked over to a wonderful frozen yogurt place where you serve yourself -- lots of flavors to choose from and toppings ranging from fresh berries to gummy bears and jelly beans. Ken stayed back to take care of some things at home, but we had a wonderful day and will make the trip to West Philadelphia to get more fro yo!
