In this, the first posting, Bryn is 3 years old and Luke is 15 and a half months. It is my hope that this blog will offer a medium in which I can capture the wondrous and sometimes hilarious things that Bryn and Luke do each and every day.
It seems this week Luke is working hard to communicate through the few signs of baby sign language that he knows. When I put him down for a nap a couple of days ago, he blew me a kiss, and I just melted. The sign for "thank you" resembles blowing a kiss, only the hand touches the underside of the chin, rather than the mouth. Luke hasn't yet picked up on this subtle difference as he seems to be blowing kisses when he means to say "thank you." When we were coming home this afternoon from Bryn's school, Bryn shared with Luke some of her pretzels, and in response, Luke blew her a kiss!
