Damage Control
Bryn is an attentive sponge when it comes to increasing her vocabulary. After I talked about a warm day in February being an anomaly, she used the word correctly when she said that Charlie in her swim class "[was] an anomaly because he's the only boy." This past week she dropped a piece of raisin bread, which Jack quickly ate, and exclaimed, "Damage!" An amusing mispronunciation of "damn it," to be sure, but as we shift into damage control, Bryn's first expletive was a reminder to me and Ken that we must be very mindful of the language we use in her presence!
