We rounded out our trip by checking out the YMCA's pool, which is very nice but very cold in April; spotting fish, including a large red drum, in the pond at Marineland; visiting the splash park, which was of only modest interest, perhaps in part because of the cool ocean breeze; and a last-night-in-Florida stop at Rita's for ice cream. The trip home was as smooth as the trip down, so in my estimation, the kids are expressing their desire to try the longer trip to San Diego in July. It's always nice to get away, but it's nice to come home, too.
