While we weren't originally planning to go to Disney this trip, Ken and I granted Bryn's request to return to Disney for a day the second morning that we were in Florida. Luke had the pleasure of spending the day with Nana and Papap. The park was more crowded than I was expecting, but it wasn't at all like our visit right after Christmas when we joined 85,000 other visitors. This time, when we entered the park, we immediately saw characters (Chip and Dale and Pluto and Daisy Duck) in front of City Hall, and we waited somewhere between 20 and 30 minutes each time to have our pictures taken with Pluto, Pinocchio, and Snow White and Dopey.

As we walked up Main Street, we stumbled upon an impromptu performance of the Dapper Dans, an old-fashioned barber shop quartet. Their instruments, more than 100 years old, were Deegan chord pipes (need to double check the name), and together with their singing, they held Bryn's attention while Ken waited in line for a coffee (not the easiest thing to find at Disney World, as it turns out.)

From there we went to the race track, which Sam and Aunt Kristin and Uncle Paul had enjoyed in December. I tried to take a self-portrait of me and Bryn, but unfortunately, I cut off Bryn's face. Bryn had fun on the ride, but not nearly as much fun as she had on Goofy's barn stormer roller coaster, which she rode first with Ken and then immediately afterwards with me. I couldn't believe Bryn didn't get scared on the ride. It was a short ride, but FAST, and the whole time that I screamed, Bryn just laughed. Riding the roller coaster with a tickled Bryn was, hands down, the highlight of my entire week in Florida.
