Bryn Gets Promoted, Again!

First in Little Gym, now in swimming, Bryn has been moved to the next level. Today her swimming instructor said that she should absolutely move up to the next level of swimming, and perhaps even up two levels, but in the latter, she needs to be able to swim half the length of the pool independently, but Bryn stops and puts her feet down to breathe. A jump of two levels would also put her with older kids, so for the time being, we'll try the very next level and see how it goes. We can always move her up mid-stream.
Perhaps in even bigger news Bryn had her very first "drop off" play date. All by herself she walked over to our next-door neighbor's house and made Valentine's Day cookies with Emily (and her mom) and made valentines, too. She walked home by herself after about an hour and 15 minutes. Such a big, big girl!
We went out for pizza tonight, and I had another one of those my-kid's-a-genius moments when Luke pointed out Barack Obama on TV. How many two-year-olds can correctly identify the president? But then CNN switched to conservative Senator Lindsey Graham, and Luke again said, "Barack Obama!"
Last night Luke played peek-a-boo in the pantry. I'm posting these pictures because there exist Polaroid shots of my doing the same thing in a corner cabinet with a lazy susan when I was his same age!
