and part of the new bed was too big!
Luke had no qualms about sleeping in his new, full-size bed this afternoon at naptime. To my terrific disappointment, though, the frame of the twin-size bed was too big to navigate our twisting stair case. The full-size bed came disassembled, so it was carried to Luke's room in pieces. But the trundle bed was one piece, and without any give -- unlike a mattress -- the delivery people couldn't get it up the stairs. What a bummer. I really had my heart set on a trundle bed. Oh well. Not the end of the world. We can do sleep overs on an air mattress.
