Little Gym Finale
Back in January, Ken and I did not know whether we would make it to this point -- to the Little Gym finale in June when the participants are awarded medals. At the start of the semester, Luke had a difficult time engaging in the class as neither Ken nor I was no longer in the room with him -- although present the whole time, watching just outside the room. In fact, at the very first session, I left with an inconsolable kid after about 20 minutes. But with perseverance, and many thanks to Mr. Jeff, one of the teachers, Luke grew to like his Little Gym class, and he came to participate without any tears at the onset of class. Here is his final performance:
As he should be, Luke is proud of his first hard-earned medal, and he even asked if he could bring it on our summer vacation in California.
