American Idol

Since February we've been letting the kids watch the singers compete on American Idol. One would think that they're not watching closely as they dance and make noise while the contestants perform, but both kids can tell you the names of all 12 contestants, and Bryn also knows where most of them are from. Watching the show has also taught Bryn and Luke the meaning of "thumbs up" and "thumbs down," and Bryn cleverly invented a new option for those who are undecided, "thumb sideways."
