Today Luke and Bryn decorated farm-fresh eggs from Ken's co-worker, Jeannette, who lives on a working farm. We used a kit from last year, and for some unknown reason, the pink and purple dyes didn't take to the eggs. After dyeing half of the eggs, we switched to sponge painting the eggs with a different set of messier dyes. Luke had as much of an attention span for this undertaking as did Bryn, and they didn't stop until all 11 eggs were transformed.
