Santa Cookies

Nama came up Dec. 18th -- the day Bryn was discharged from
the hospital, and the day before a huge snowstorm that hit the entire East Coast. She brought all the makings for these adorable
Santa cookies, which she had made originally when Bryn was allergic to eggs. The cookies are essentially decorated Oreo cookies,
and Bryn did all the decorating! They're yummy, too, and I think they'll be an annual tradition from this point forward.
Sadly, Nama started feeling ill while at our house, and she decided since Bryn was still recuperating that it would be best if she (Nama) went back home. So to everyone's disappointment she drove home the morning of Christmas Eve after exchanging presents with the kids. Nama missed the excitement at our house Christmas morning, but she was later diagnosed with bronchitis and was still coughing well into the New Year, so she thinks she made the right decision in going back to Potomac.
