The Easter Bunny brought Bryn and Luke an easel that has a chalkboard on one side and is outfitted for painting on the other side. Bryn was the first to take a turn painting; the first thing Luke did when he picked up a paintbrush was put it in his mouth. Yuck! That ended his painting session immediately. He returned to the canvas later in the day and managed to keep the brushes out of his mouth. In the afternoon we joined the Marans and the Driscolls (next-door neighbors) for a low-key egg hunt in our front yards. This time I think Bryn was genuinely excited when she spotted an egg on her own.
