Grandparents' Visits

Last week we had really nice visits with both sets of grandparents. First, Nana and Papap Rowles came up the Saturday before Easter and stayed for three nights. In that time, Nana began teaching Bryn how to sew -- they practiced by sewing Papap's sleeve shut! Nana and Papap took Bryn to Little Gym, so they got to see how independent she can be (a couple of the children come in and out of the room throughout the entire class) as well as her talent for doing flips on the bar. Nana counted 17! Three days later Nama and Granpop Shumanis spent the night. In the morning, Nama and Granpop witnessed Bryn swim the length of the pool (with a stryofoam noodle) AND BACK AGAIN! Bryn had the pleasure of eating at Ruby's Diner twice in one week; grandparents certainly are special!
