This month Bryn has rekindled her interest in "her babies." Every day she plays with a boy doll that I gave her after she got stitches in her chin and his twin sister, a more recent acquisition. She's named the boy baby "Jasper," which is no doubt inspired by our regular babysitter, Hallie, who has a new nephew named Jasper. As for Jasper's twin sister, well, that's how Bryn usually refers to her; one day the doll's name was "Lauren," but for the most part, Bryn refers to her as "Jasper's twin sister." Here Bryn is having lunch with her babies; we make a habit of going through McDonald's drive-through on Wednesdays after music class. Later in the afternoon we visited Ken at work, and when asked what color his chair is, Bryn responded "verde." She's really taking to the Spanish instruction that was introduced to her classroom one morning a week. Soon she and Ken will be able to communicate without my understanding what they're saying!
