Sunday morning the kids and I went to the duck pond at Haverford College, one of our regular weekend stops. I missed the last trip to the pond when Bryn spotted goslings, so we went to see if they were still there. And they were -- 11 of them, staying cool under the shade of a tree. We didn't see any in the water -- we've yet to see them swim, though one did waddle up to the edge of the pond to take a drink. The goslings, with their yellow feathers, look more like ducks at this stage. It will be fun to watch their development over the course of the summer.
