The Anticipation that Precedes Christmas

In the days leading up to Christmas, Bryn and Luke had fun stacking their presents that were under the tree. Every morning they checked the inventory -- to see if a new present bearing their name had appeared over night. The biggest present served as "the foundation," -- Luke's words, for the structures they built out of their packages. Not once did they shake the boxes in an effort to determine what lie under the wrapping paper. Simply making houses and "structures" out of the wrapped gifts was sufficient.
