Thursday morning Luke went pee pee in the potty! Up until this point, Luke has used the potty only at bathtime. But yesterday morning, as I was changing his diaper right after he woke up, he said, "No diaper. Potty." This was also one of the first times that Luke has requested to use the potty, without being asked to do so. Sure enough, Luke made pee pee in the potty -- and started his day with a couple of candy corns as a reward. This morning he had no interest in using the potty, but he did successfully use the potty after his bath. In another exciting development, Luke didn't cry when I left him at school both Wednesday and Friday mornings. Wednesday he played in the leaves with his friends, and this morning he started the day by kicking a soccer ball on the playground. I can't tell you what a difference these easier drop offs have made in my morning. :)
